In the words of the Grateful Dead, what a long, dope road it’s been. Ok, so maybe that’s not exactly how Jerry Garcia and company put it, but that’s what they would have said if they wrote Truckin about DJBooth and Event Electronic’s 20/20 Music series. Providing the vocal half of the equation is illa Jay, who lays down appropriately mellowed bars that are far deeper than they might first appear on the surface. Sad to see the series end because of all of the dope releases, but glad to see it end on yet another great song.

I like the DJ Premier influenced beat. Chorus was good and the flow of both artists remind me of some good 90's hop-hop.
