Exasperation seems to be a popular mood in the Booth today; Dre-Ski‘s latest feature, It’s Getting Old, found the emcee venting his frustration with the endless grind, and now, on the lead single off DJ Khaled’s forthcoming LP, the We the Best head honcho has assembled a characteristically star-studded cast of collaborators to let listeners know just how Fed Up they are with… well, it’s not entirely clear. One thing’s for sure, though: Khaled, Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Drizzy aren’t about to let anyone or anything get in the way of their paper chase. Over The Runners’ epic, synth-drenched juggernaut of a beat, all three guest emcees turn in solid verses, and the recently-divorced Usher handles the hook, echoing civil rights activist Fannie Lou Haner’s famous quote (and her epitaph, according to Wikipedia), “I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired.” If Fed Up leaves you hungry for more, you can find plenty more larger-than-life beats and insane guest lineups on Victory, set for release in 2010 under Khaled’s new record deal with Def Jam South.

Probably the worst single Khaled has offered. Maybe I need to let it grow on me but I'm terribly disappointed with this one. Usher puts forth a slightly above average chorus, the production feels like an attempt to remake "Out Here Grindin'" and the guest verses are all pretty weak with the exception of Jeezy. Drake was enjoyable but I've come to expect far more from him. Plus, his verse is far too short to make a real impression. Ross was the biggest mistake on this track. I pray for the day that Khaled stops using him on every track.

P.S. I can't wait for the new Luda and Shawnna single to come out. The performance at the BET awards was the shows highlight. Sounds like Luda has another smash on his hands.

its really ironic because i was JUST tellin sum ppl earlier that khaled irritates me. and now he has a booth feature... jeez. well, this aint different. and usher annoys the hell out of me in this song. the averageness of ross and drake will stop me from callin this garbage... but BARELY.

and my friend at skool makes alot of sense.. i kno drake signed with wanye nd all.. but does he really have to mention him in EVERY SONG since he became major? just askin.

It's the same song with different people. Instead of Akon or T-Pain, its Usher (which is an upgrade). Jeezy and Ross are mainstays and Drizzy is the new Wayne in terms of guest features. Honestly, I'm shocked that Gucci Mane isn't on here? I guess Jeezy pulled an MJ and treated him like Isiah.

In the end, all you have left is a dope production from The Runners. Yes, their work here sounds like other beats they have made, but so what? The other beats were good. Talk to Swizzy or Cool & Dre about that.

It's not that this song is bad at all, it's just that it is pretty much the same exact formula as all of Khaled's other tracks. He needs to be a little more creative. Usher sounded good on the hook and Drake sounded pretty fresh. This song isn'tbad at all, it will probably just get old pretty quickly.

he keeps doing the same stuff over and over with pretty much the same people over and over. there's nothing exciting or catchy about this song. The Runners also came pretty mediocre too.

4 stars for the Runners, period! I can not say no to a Runners-produced joint. It just bangs.

-_- but Usher?! He was the biggest disappointment in this. Really annoying voice and T-Pain sounding, except I don't tolerate it coming form him (at least we know T-Pain is using a voicebox).

Jeezy was really cool with the flow/delivery!

Usually I'm one to love a DJ Khaled collaboration banger. Jeezy isn't my favorite but his verse was banging and I thought ross's was decent actually as well but his voice has been sounding kinda nasally recently if you listen closely. See no reason to have put usher on this, he sounded just like t-pain minus the autotune, same tone and speed etc.. Drake, haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet, understand hes made some bangers but i still don't see the phenomenon yet and his verse was average or below on this. Ushers little verse at the end was good but him on the hook was useless.

all the hooks khaleds singles have are great, the only reason i look forward to khaled albums is cuz of the couple crazy singles he creates (like Out Here Grindin and Go Hard on the last album), obviously lyrically this song is kinda lacking, and the hook isnt amazing so i cant give it a 4, still will be a successful single probably

the only problem i really have with drake overall, not just this song, is that he mentions him and wayne too much

idk..I'm "Fed UP" with the way DJ Khaled operates...imo it seems like the man just assumes if you fill a track with an all-star roster it automatically equals a hit... I mean, maybe some of these people work better with select few..or cancel each other out on a track(if that makes sense)...ok..off my chest =] I feel better

DEEEEE JAAAYYYYY KHHHAAALLLLEEEDDD IS BACK!

...and brought a @*#$! ton of mediocrity to the party. Again.

I liked the mix up with Usher, and Jeezy killed this one. This thing that made this song really good was that DJ Khaled actually shut the hell up for once. Well, kinda.

Seriously though, what does Khaled even bring to the party other than a loud repetition of screams?

The beat on here is smooth (good job Runners!). I like Usher on the Chorus. Jeezy does his thing setting it off first. Rick Ross sounds good as usual. Drake's verse was tight. Overall an above average track for sure.

Man, Rick Ross and Young Jeezy have been sliding down the pole of good rappers. They are, how do I put this, sucking here lately. Usher, did alright on this. I thought his voice was good, just not something that I would have expected to hear on a Khaled song. Which by the way, I am 100 percent fed up with DJ Khaled's yelling. I'm all for self promotion, but come'on bro. As for Drake, I thought he had the highlight of the song. I liked his verse and his flow was good. Defintely nice to know there was another song with Drizzy in it after not being even able to get to that song with Timbaland in it because it was so annoying. Overall Usher and Drake kinda keep it legit.

Agreeing that this is easily the weakest single Khaled has made. The production is average, the hook from Usher is disappointing (though I dont think he's ever made a great hook to be honest) and none of the verses are super flash (though all came with some decent rhymes).

This track isnt what I was hoping for in Khaled's first single. 2.5

Not feelin' this joint.

Jeez and Drizzy were the only murderous ones on their verses. Drake's verse was too short.

Usher doesn't sound right with DJ Khaled. His hook and half-a-verse was mediocre. It's just like Trey Songz and Fat Joe...

I really don't like the fact Ross is on almost every Khaled single; it annoys me so much...he's not even that good...

Even the Runners (who murdered the instrumental on Out Here Grindin'), made a very generic, and boring beat...

The biggest disappointment comes from Usher, his vocals were annoying, sounds kinda whiny. Surprisingly Young Jeezy was far more tolerable than what I expected, his flow was quick and sounds good against this fast beat, having the best verse on this joint easily. Ross was average and Drake was good, though lately his verses are starting to sound exactly the same. Production by Runners was also a let down, beat is speedin' and eventually drowns out the lyrics.

"Victory" is fundamentally going to be the same Khaled album we’ve heard before. It’s the same sh!t every time, like you know what to expect. Good for a couple bangers, but nothing else.

(I left the “DJ” off his name because that would give him too much credit)

hahahhaaa i jumped off the Khaled bandwagon because of his last album. he has done a lot better in the past, but maybe there's not as much for him to work with, whatever that is he does. I don't think he'll top We Takin Over or I'm So Hood.

You know what, this song is actually good. I like everything about it...except Khaled. I'm just tired of hearing "we da best"...just can't hear it anymore. While Drakes lyrics are okay, I find his flow is really boring. He can't change it up at all and they actually had the beat switch to accomodate him. That's kind of lame.
