Your favorite DJ has probably been smacked by Kay Slay over the course of his storied career. Though the Harlem-born and raised hip-hop giant has fallen from the mainstream radar over the past few years, he stays true to New York by bringing Uptown’s finest together for the appropriately-titled Up in Harlem. Juelz Santana and his fellow Dipset cohorts Hell Rell and JR Writer breathe fresh life into what is likely the first single off Kay Slay’s forthcoming More Than Just A DJ album. Smacking your favorite DJ with a Harlem World heatrock, Up In should keep the blocks on super-smash. The Drama King will keep the streets talking; will the DJBooth community be doing the same?
Chorus sucks and the beat is not even that good. Lyrics are average but this is garbage. I would expect at least something better wit santana on the track
This isn't bad...I'm kinda feeling the production, beat and background sample are good! The overall song is repetitive, though. It hasn't a chorus, it gets boring after a while! Rappers are OK
naw, ive neva been a Juelz Santana fan...cuz i know itz a hit n miss with him. here itz a miss. no onez rap-n wuz actual-e gud soooo...o yeah plus-i dont lyk thiz beat eitha- itz wut u would call boring.
this obviously isnt a Diplomat song persay.. this aint produced by dip 740 or nothing.. this is just dipset trying to be dipset.. my opinion its one of those that shows dipset actually needs cam more than they dont
