Baltimore club music, as much a part of the city’s culture as the Ravens and the Orioles, has recently been growing in popularity outside of Maryland, partially thanks to the connections made by the late DJ K-Swift.  Now, fellow club chief DJ Class is getting ready to further the national movement; the recent Universal Republic signee’s debut single, I’m The Ish, has been given the remix treatment with the help of two of the label’s newest signees.  Though Pitbull sounds right at home on the cut, contributing a minimal yet hyped-up verse, Lil’ Jon makes the biggest impression with his trademark club shout-outs.  I’m The Ish is the perfect thing to get bodies out onto the dancefloor, and Class’ debut album, Alameda & Coldspring, will bring listeners plenty more club-ready jams when it drops this summer.

Boring....exactly what I was expecting. A reggae club beat with minor tweaks with Pitbull thrown on it.

Nothing else to say...

Whether from a club or lyric standpoint this is a garbage song. There's too much sounds mixed together and its poorly produced. I doubt this will even get plays at the club.

The production on this is just wierd. I can't even see this gettin too big in the club, except maybe the part when lil' Jon breaks it down. Class is boring, and the hook is extremely simple and unimpressive.

I don't wanna get preachy or make comments that make it seem like we are in bed with these artists and their labels, but let me just throw some bullet points out...

* This is meant for club enjoyment, not out of computer speakers.

* This is meant to bring energy to a crowd, not excite someone sitting at a desk.

* This sound has captivated an entire region, so clearly, it isn't about talent but more about feeling.

Rotation - because as a DJ, you need to know what is going to get people up and having a good times while getting plastered out of their minds. Up-tempo = the trend in 09.

Lil Jon does things for this track... He does have the voice that get people on the dancefloor. This is a below average track for the club. Not feeling Pitbull though

Actually, this is Baltimore Club music. If you're not from Balt, you really wouldn't get it. Just like a lot of ppl outside of DC don't really like GO-GO. It's a "area" thing. That's all. Hot track. Gets everybody up when the club music starts....
