There are almost as many motivations for making music as there are artists; some are in it solely for the money, some are looking to express their deepest emotions, and some even seem to think a stirring pop tune can save the world (cough, delusions of grandeur, cough).  Then there’s DJ Class, who just wants to make you Dance Like A Freak.  It’s not hard to see why the Baltimore club chief and his crew are lobbying for Universal Republic to promote this cut as the follow-up to Alameda & Coldspring lead single I’m the Ish: fueled by jittery, stop-start percussion, staccato piano vamps, and abrupt sci-fi synth spurts, the beat is sure to get bodies moving, but it’s the light touch with which Class shifts between minimal and borderline-claustrophobic grooves that makes this a shining example of dancefloor-packing craftsmanship.  Class’ vocals are Autotuned, and, frankly, not all that important—lyrical heads might want to wait for the inevitable star-studded remix, but if you can appreciate a freaky beat that stands on its own two feet, this just might be your jam. Alameda & Coldspring, Class’ debut album, is set to heat up dancefloors in the Charm City and beyond this fall.

NOT AS GOOD AS "Im The Ish"
but its alright.
i really like the whole "baltimore club" scene,
so its not a bad song at all.
2.5 stars but still rotation worthy

This will WRECK shop on the dance floors. Baltimore club music is about to be a major problem... outside of B'more.

To quote Richard: "Class’ vocals are Autotuned, and, frankly, not all that important."

Shouts to the homie, Class.

I'll rate this track for what it is, and that is a song that will KILL in the clubs. The vocals and melody are just enough to get people singin along while they're gettin down. For it's purpose, this is a great track.

All I'm sayin is that this isn't movin me until that star-studded Remix comes along ... I feel there are far better songs out there of this genre ... club-oriented ... 2* even tho i switched it off halfway ...

I agree completely 100% with DJ Z. Usually, with tracks like this, the vocals aren't important; it's the production that gets you to move your ass, not the lyrics. With that said, this is a great track from Mr. Class. Banger, no doubts.

I was hoping for the next club anthem, but I don't think the beat is strong enough to keep up with the clubs. It gets better when that low beat drops for about 5 seconds during the chorus but its still not enough it make my get outta my chair.

I feel like it will be a banger in clubs, but when I break the song down, vocals are just decent, lyrics are just ok, beat is just ok.
