Diddy-Dirty Money - Hair Down
Artist: Diddy-Dirty Money
Featuring: Dawn Richard
Producer: Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe
Album: Unreleased
Label: Bad Boy/Interscope
Although his last three attempts at putting together a super group have fallen apart or tried to leave Bad Boy (R.I.P. Da Band, Danity Kane and Day26), Diddy has continued on undaunted, forming Dirty Money along with singers Dawn Richard and Kalenna in an attempt to regain his superstar status. So far his efforts have met with mixed results, and I think I can safely expect their new track Hair Down to draw the same love it/hate it response on the Booth. While some hypnotically ambient production from Hit-Boy & Chase N. Cashe (who recently did Weezy’s Drop the World) plays in the background, Dawn and Kalenna lay down some seductively soft vocals - and then Diddy comes in and ruins the track with a terrible rap, just like he did on Angels (Remix). Notice a pattern? Still, we’ll have to reserve final judgment until Diddy’s Last Train to Paris album finally drops on…um…whenever he decides. Stay tuned for all the latest.

I actually liked this... till Diddy's verse. I mean, come on.. He's a good businessman but dude thats ridiculous. Those are super basic rhymes and not that good of a flow. I liked the whole vibe of the song otherwise though. Still in rotation, barely.

Why Diddy Why????
Your a business man and ONLY a business man!! This had some serious potential to be a banger but Diddy killed it!! (in a bad way) Why cant diddy just let it go....i mean let the people with the real singing/rapping talent shine and just manage them behind the scene without singing or rapping!! I'll even put up with you dancing across their music video!! haha suge knight |

Love Come Down was a grower, but I fell in LOVE with it. Angels was an instant hit to me. This one is surprisingly OK to me! Not a hit though.

It’s a nice relaxing melody, and both Dawn and surprisingly Diddy ride it nicely. Diddy rapping was once again a mess. I dig the vibe but that too soon got boring. Okay at very best.

I have never liked this project since I first heard about it, though its not because I hate Diddy, its just I would of prefered another album similar to 'Press Play', in that he had a ton of featured artist, some brilliant production & for his verses he hired the best ghostwriters money could buy.
To this track, I didnt like anything I heard. This song was terrible even before Diddy's verse. |

Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!! Stop rhyming Diddy!!!!! This Dirty money project could actually be interesting if he would just check the ego and stay off the mic. (Shakes head in disappointment)

not feelin this as much as his otha recent releases.
y dont he release Hurt ft. Drake??? he needs a hit for this cd. something that will get ppl talkin. Hurt would def do that. not only does Diddy sound good on that track, Drake completely smashes it. i will remain optomistic bout th eupcoming project. |

I like the smooth beat and all of the components of the beat that make it sound the way it does. Definitely something different. The girls are killin it. Damn...Even Diddy usually comes better than this though. That was a TERRIBLE verse. He definitely put this track down a star in the rating. This better be an interlude track.

In my opinion this track doesn't deserve such low ratings. I find it beautiful! Chillin and sexy production, and good melody. The girls sound great and P Diddy's part isn0t bad, either.
