Diddy-Dirty Money - Love Comes Down
Artist: Diddy-Dirty Money
Producer: Rob Holladay
Album: Last Train to Paris
Label: Bad Boy/Interscope
With an elaborate, overarching concept, an accompanying film, and a sound so out-of-this-world even Diddy himself doesn’t seem to know how to describe it (Electro hip-hop soul funk? Train music!?), Last Train to Paris is shaping up to be… well… something. Fresh off the release of a prelude mixtape credited to his dance-music alter-ego, ‘Lectro Black, the Bad Boy mogul is giving fans the first taste of his much-hyped fifth solo album with the release of dual singles Angels and Love Come Down. On the latter track, Sean Combs and fellow Dirty Money members Dawn Richard and Kalenna join forces to “Show ‘em how to move in a room full of vultures.” The threesome’s sung and flowed reflections on jet-setting romance don’t offer much in the way of plot development, but most will be too busy moving to the music to care—backed by Rob Holladay‘s kitchen-sink percussion and neon-synth blurs, LCD is a certified dancefloor-scorcher. Needless to say, fans of hi-octane club music won’t regret jumping on board Diddy’s Train when it pulls into the station this winter.

Not so bad. Not a shocker but everyone knows Diddy's best songs are the ones where good artists are featured with him. (He probalby does too, that why he has talented girls singing in the group). The 2 ladies are the real reason the song's dope.
The Jay-Z sample is nice but overrall just doesn't fit, the girls shouldn't be singing over it. Still, it's a cathy song. |

I hear they got Jay-Z on the hook. Its OK I think this song is going to grow on me. The only thing is its hard to tell the 2 girls apart |

Diddy knows he cannot rap, but over his career as an artist and as a label boss he has made music that LIVES in the club. I don't think he is an expert, but he is a professional. Not sure what this record can really do, but it bangs.

Strong chorus but the chiming sound on the beat for this is a little too much for me; couldn't concentrate on the lyrics at all do to the massive migraine that came as a result of it. lol. I'll say this much, I'd attempt to spin this at a club and see what happens but I'd NEVER listen to this on my own.

I like the production, but that first lady sounded bad to me on this track. I don't like how they approached this production at all. Good banging beat, but horrible vocal arrangement.

This song is all over the place. The beat is uptempo, but Dawn and Kalenna's verses sound like they belong on a slow song. The hook sounds garbled with both the singing and the Jay Z sample, they should go one way or the other with it. Diddy was actually the highlight of the song for me... but that's not saying much.

Was that singing at the beginning? It seems the girls have dumb down there singing voices for Diddy to sound ok. The vocal stylings on girls is irritating as hell.
As far as Diddy ... he was ok. I tend to tune him out now. I don’t try to figure out what he’s saying anymore. The random “SHOW EM HOW TO MOVE” is irritating and it ruined the hook. The production bumps for a few plays but doesn’t have much longevity and soon that too will get annoying. So basically what @mmoore1127 said - It's a mess. |

I am liking this but it is really different from anything out there right now and that's how didy wanted it. I would say my favorite is Dawn.

Send this one back to Diddy because it was trash. Dawn is cool and whatever but she stopped her solo project for this. Be serious man!

i like how different this is, might have too much occuring though , but i wonder how Nicki Minaj feels about this groups name. Since her branch of young money is called "Dirty Money", she can't be too happy about this...

At the beginning I didn't like this song, I found the production too "noisy" but now I like it, it's weird but energetic!

Oh well, Diddy's got so many things going for him. I have seen the trailer of his upcoming film, and it's funny. The producer says Diddy's a natural funny guy. Watch the trailer of "Get Him to the Greek" here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9s0oYIP3Kc
