DG Yola, aka, Da Great, is a 21-year old upstart rapper busting out of Atlanta with his own style and school of thought known as Gutta, a reference to his teenage years on the streets. Rollin, one of several hit songs produced by DJ Montay from his debut album Gutta World, due out in fall of 2007, brings a different flavor to the chart formulas. The lyrics themselves can’t fend for themselves, but with a deft appearance by Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, this piece goes a long way. it sounds good in the very beginning but when he sings it seems like it needs to be faster. when he gets into the aucctual song its a lil to slow paced for me. he could be good if there was more to it. there needs to be more energy to the beat.
