Success is no more guaranteed for a young singer than a young rapper, but if you can truly sing there will always be a place in the game for you. That means there should be a place in the game for Dez. Making his DJBooth debut with new single We Ride, the VA crooner recruits producers The Movement for a beat that’s inspirational, danceable and, well, pretty damn riding. From there it’s up to Dez’ impressive pen and strong vocals to carry the day as he promises a young lady that if she’ll always ride shotgun, he’ll take her wherever she needs to go. Those suddenly eager to hear more from Dez can look forward to the release of his Real Talk mixtape, due out August 28.
