Named after the landlord on the BBC soap opera, EastEnders, Derty Den has been in love with hip-hop since he memorized the lines to the Biggie classic, Unbelievable.  A student of the rap game and a representative of North Carolina, Den is ready to carry a city and give everyone a major dose of Reality.  Although he’s originally from the Dirty South, Den raps on point with a traditional East Coast mentality; commenting on “wack” rappers and upset that the mainstream is trying to control music.  Derty Den’s primary goal is to do for North Carolina what Petey Pablo was never able to do; remove the blurry lines that separate perception from reality.

Dirty Den is blowing up along the East coast. He has been featured in a plethora of magazines and webzines; should we contact his people about an interview? Let us know!

I like the kanye-west-like production used on this track. The beat is SOLID. I never heard of Dirty Den before, but I like his flow on this track and his thoughts are coherent and strung along well. If someone like 50, lil wayne or kanye was on this beat it would be a #1 hit EASILY. With Dirty Den on it, it will go into rotation and may never actually see any radio-play...but we will see. I would like to hear more from him before I pass full judgement.
