Straight outta Ipswich, England, buzzmaking emcee DELS makes his grand entrance into the Booth with Trumpalump, a new single off his forthcoming debut set. On this pensive banger, the 8-bit synth stylings of Joe Goddard (of UK electronic duo Hot Chip) set the stage for DELS’ lyrical reflections on life, death and the hereafter. Fans craving more left-of-center freshness should mark their calendars for the May 9, digital release (and 5/24 physical release) of the artist’s GOB LP, produced entirely by Goddard, Micachu and Kwes.
