The game has truly gone international—on Long Life, Parisian producer and lover of all things hip-hop Dela flips a soulful sample as Brooklyn Legend Talib Kweli sends a message to all the “lullaby rappers” in the game today. Praying that the wack emcees can realize the error of their ways, a non-bitter Kweli shines over Dela’s breezy backdrop of a beat, on this first listen from the forthcoming Changes of Atmosphere. With no release date yet announced, DJBooth listeners should take hold of this “love language” and enjoy the intercontinental experience.
Talib is amazing! Great song, fits the beat perfectly. The chorus is a little too stereotypical for Talib tho but its still nice. Great production, but Dela is getting his DJ Khalid on, calling himself the artist of a song he produced. (I know, Khalid doesn't even produce but thats beside the point.)
NO COMMENT...well i mean, NO RATING from me!!!!...for me thiz iz sooooooo not gud @ all!!...but i dont wanna get hated on 2day for "mess-n up" tha rating.
Hella smooth beat. I dont care if its lullaby music. Everyonce in a while you just gotta take a break from your busy life. This is the perfect song for that. Lyrics are great!! banger
You know those songs where as soon as the first note hits your ear drum, you begin to smile? If you are not accustomed to that sensation, you probably listen to crappy music. This one, however, should do the trick. Dela, your plane has arrived.
The second I heard the clarinet, I knew I was in for soulful greatness!!! Production is so smooth and crafts an excellent, effortless blend of soul, jazz and hip-hop. You gotta give such a pearl to an equally great MC, and Talib Kweli is obviously a good choice.
Talib's prelude was real ill. His voice really matches this tracks vibe. I'm loving this track so much. Dela's production is mad chill and chill without the Ch. Thank you WOW for not rating. I pray one day you'll LOVE this type of stuff! LOL. So Dela is just a producer then, dropping compilations? Cool...lots of producers are doing that lately. DJ Khaled's not the only one! LOL. I can really dig it.
@ WOW:) you should not abstain from rating just because you don't wanna be hated. Everyone is free here and your rating won't affect the official charts! We're all normal people with their own tastes. I don't like this song very much. The production is good, smooth and kinda sexy I must say, his flow is OK but the overall result bored me. If a song bores me I won't listen to it again! Guess it's just not my type of hip hop song, but I recognise it's well done...to me it's a 2,5
But Patty, she has acknowledged she lacks understanding of certain content on songs, just like you have said in the past. You really didn't understand the point of songs or the meaning of lyrics, so you didn't rate. She's just doing the same.
yes michaelhannah I understand what u mean you are right...I was only saying that it's time to stop hating on people coz their tastes! I'm not directly referring to you
