Probably tired of promoting Let’s Make Love for the last year-and-a-half, Deepside has decided to move onto their next single from the oft-delayed DS2. For Feelin’ Like A Pimp the quartet has snatched up production duo Cool & Dre, although most listener’s wouldn’t know that right away (the low bass is rather atypical of the string-organ producers). Modern day hip-hop influences are laid on heavy, as Pretti Sly, Penny, Rude Boi and Mike Ezay boast about their chrome-plated cars and diamond-studded watches. Even producer Dre joins in on the fun with a verse that proves his stuntin’ is an epidemic (no pun intended). Deepside might feel like pimps, but it’s obvious they’d also like to experience the feeling of releasing an album.
Hey diz iz TIGHT!! ima sucka 4 smooth boy band songz so 4me this iz nice, but I cud understand ppl not likin diz.. itz real eazy lisning so if ur into more heaver stuff id say diz isnt 4u... ima give it a 4star but truthfully its more like a 3.5
I like the beat by cool and dre, and I like the chorus the way they ripped it over the beat. These guys sound like they can really sing! If Jive signed them to a deal, then they most likely have something really good to bring to the table, and this track is smooth and shows they have what it takes. Not the best R&B track but a DAMN GOOD start!
I'm actually diggin' this... it has a throwback feel to it and they sound pretty straight vocally. I could do with better lyrics, but you can't have it all... On another note, who are these cats?
The problem with all these R&B groups is that they are very monotonatic and have the same sound in all of their songs. thats why R$B hasn't had a Male Group since JE
