After an extended hiatus, the DJBooth.net Freestyle Series makes its triumphant return to our pages. Entry #242 comes courtesy of Dee-1, the New Orleans representative who hooked up with DJBooth to drop I Hope They Hear Me Vol. 2 back in March. On his brand new, exclusive Spell Check freestyle, the Omar Ent signee flows over original boardwork by Cracktracks.
Fresh off his first national tour, Dee-1 is currently continuing to promote his latest street album. In addition, the artist is preparing to drop official video accompaniments to mixtape inclusions The One That Got Away (featuring Mannie Fresh) and Uncle Tom.

im diggin the Papoose "Alphabetical Slaughter" influence to demonstrate his lyric capability. His voice isnt the hardest or the deepest, but he managed hold his own against the bass heavy instrumental. Solid Freestyle

Dee-1 was a no brainer selection for the return of the series. Super creative effort, which is hard considering we are 242 freestyles into the series.

That is what I call Mcin not a cruse word in the entire flow. A loss art; because MC depend on those cruse words. It is never needed is you have real skills. Ruggied beat with Lyrics to match...Killer combination.....I Hope They Hear Ya!!!!
