With my respects to Jay-Z, it is Diddy and not he who is the real business (…man) of the rap industry. On top of founding Bad Boy Records, Sean John, his own movie production company, and two restaurants, the artist formerly known as Puff has produced three seasons of MTV’s Making the Band, yielding three semi-successful supergroups. The most recent of these is Day26, a Pop/R&B boy band composed of five young singers with voices good enough for reality TV. The third single off their self-titled debut album is In My Bed, a poppy up-tempo jam about where all the magic supposedly happens. Helping them out on the beat is Timbaland protégé Danja, who has carved out a sizeable corner of his career doing production work for Making the Band winners.
HOT track! This whole album is nuts...I'm actually really surprised that Got Me Going didn't get as big as I thought it would. This is a good follow up single, I love the beat and the vocals are on point. Check this album out if you haven't done so already.
This is a really nice slow jam. Day 26 got pretty nice lyrics in this one for a r&b song. The chorus is good. I didnt really like ne of their other songs but this one is dope.Perfect slow jam for the ladies
ummm i've recently became a day 26 fan. dis is not one of my favs...nor do i think its a good single. i stay n da A and ive never heard da first single on da radio so i think dey needa come extra hard for da 2nd single. my picks would be: "Since you've been gone", "what it feels like"(MY SHIT!!!!!), "CoStar", OR "over now".....
Gemini, the second single is "Since You've Been Gone," and has already begun playing at radio. I am assuming that the label decided to also push "In My Bed" because it is an uptempo joint and appeals to a large audience on both radio and in the clubs...
wow i cant believe they had lots of great joints on their album and they choose this song yyyyyyyyyy. this is one of my least favorite, i like the beat, but the lyrics r wack
ESPECIALLY the chorus, TOP 5 songs on their album r What it feel like, Dont fight the feelin, Since u been gone, If it wasnt for u , and Are we in this together (in no order)
Yeah cb126405 I was also suprised that Got Me Going wasent bigger it was one of my favorite songs this year. I mean they played it here on the hip hop station in portland for a little while but gave up on it because it wasent getting enough requests. oh well hardly any songs I like get big.
I'm feeling this, it's my kind of song...uptempo, catchy, and they can sing! Until now I like Day 26, although I've never heard their album. To me it's a banger, with all the horrible songs which are around, this can be only good
I'm really surprised they picked this as the third single. I really thought that this was one of the weakest tracks on the album. The hook just doesn't sound good and I don't find it catchy either. Like Enaj said, its forgettable after a few listens and is just dull.
ok z, but I'VE NEVER HEARD "SINCE U BEEN GONE" ON DA RADIO!!!!!!!!! dats really bad considerin bad boy south's artists r mainly from da A. hmmm cum on diddy.. lol patty is funny. yea u'll like da album. i jus bought it yesterday.
Whats good all:
this isnt their 3rd single, shit it isnt the second either. The official 2nd single is "SINCE YOU BEEN GONE". The "IN MY BED" is a MIXSHOW DJ CUT.
just so the guys can have multiple impressions at radio and clubs.
i dont hav to hear da song dey SEXXI in mii book., but i did and dis could be a nice hit and dey r goin to be big cause day r sexxi all can sing and dey r great!!!! ohhh yea AND SEXXIIIIIIIII
