The second season of Making The Band 4 begins this evening and as the popular MTV show gears up for another wild run, the unnamed quintet has released their first official single to the masses. Entitled Got Me Going, produced by Mario Winans and Diddy, the single discusses the effects that women have on men. Although Brian, Mike, “Q,” Robert and Willie aren’t exactly household names just yet, their messages in Got Me Going will be an assistance to all the women who find themselves perpetually asking, “what does he want from me?” The season is set to run through March with uninterrupted episodes, all of which will lead up to the release of the group’s untitled debut offering later this year.
Ha how can they put out an official single without even having a name? This is a horrible move by Bad Boy and Mr. Combs. As for the track, it's not bad. Just another RnB track to me, but this will probably get more airplay and advertising because its coming from Bad Boy and they had their own TV show
I think they're pretty good, good beat; will probably get some radio/club play. I didn't read the producer credits yet when the song played and I thought it was a Mario Winans song!! Let's see what they can do with a proper name, cause diddy always lays down a mad catchy beat for his groups (though they seldom succeed).
I wonder how much more Diddy makes from the Making the Band show than the actual record sales of Danity Kane and these dudes? And by the way, whats up with Diddy having all of these R&B groups that will eventually flop, and then he decides to drop 8Ball and MJG? Is Diddy officially out of the HIP HOP game after Joc??
Yea I dont get it either...They have no name...I mean the song is iight but still...I dont know, I think Diddy is really trying to find one successful group that will put him back on the map, but I dont think hes found it nor do I think he will. Plus Danity Kane is still trying to drop singles from their first cd and how long ago was that?
I am very excited to see this next season. It is one of those shows that once you start watching it, you are stuck...So My DVR is set accordingly. I think the Guys group will be very successful. Each one of them could easily be a solo artist. They really found a good group of singers this time. Well, to the track, its really smooth and definitely knocking. Something you would like to dance to. Definitely a good addition or single for any album. AND, Danity Kane actually went platinum, so they are making money...

yeah "i want u exclusive" was my song. but this song is alrite. mike be gettin it. and willie is so fine. neways, to get bck on track, i can't see this as a single. it doesnt do a whole lot for me. dudes can sing and they can do much better than this.
2 seems so low, but it's not something i can hear on the radio...maybe more of a 2.5
I didn’t really like this song at first… but after a careful listening (use earphones), I’ve come to love the beat (the tempo really works here) and, no doubt, these guys can sing. What didn’t grab me at first was the melody, but actually it fits the beat, and has an epic feel to it, you have to keep up to fully enjoy it. It’s not about being catchy; it’s music at its purest. (And I’ve never seen Making the band, I live in Portugal actually)

umm nothing special. Good beat but well that's diddy. Plus not having a name is jus retarted if u putting out a single. Don't mind the song, has a good tempo but nothing special.

I believe that this beat is amazing and also I feel that the lyrics in the song is hot. It Just shows that their is talent in these guys and they are proving that there are real singers out their.
I Think That Day26 Is a good group They kind of remind me a group of singers that grew to the point that they even beat the new guys that diddy brought to the house. They grew in their voices their dancing and also learning that being in bad boy takes heart and no bitch assness to become a bad boy. And I think people shoudn't hate on this crew. You should take what they went through Was tough and they got through the struggle.
Where is Diddy going with the name Day 26...i hate it...and i thought Danity Kane was a bad name well this one is the icing on the cake. The song is good though, shame about the name

each of them all have a unique style of how they sing, im lovin this song...
day26 is probably by far ine of the best bands out there for 2008. they'll go far since the making of this album. there's not a single song i didn't like.
