Every Monday at 10pm EST, America follows the every move of Brian, Mike, “Q”, Robert and Willie. Originally known as the ‘all-male R&B super-group from Season 1 of Making The Band 4,” the quintet now goes by the stage name Day26 and on March 25 will release their self-titled debut album. With their Mario Winans-produced debut single, Got Me Going, slowly creeping up the charts, a power ballad entitled Come In has crept though the doors at DJBooth. Produced by Miami duo The Runners, the guys use the good ‘ol “the door to my heart is open” analogy, in hopes their ladies listen and walk right in. Women, however, just like the record industry, have a habit of slamming doors; let’s hope the fellas watch out.
The show is off the hook first off. Secondly, I said it before, but each one of these guys can really really sing. The production on this track is very very professional and right on. Very complex beat. They sound decent on here, but their album has to be better than this and the other track they released for them to be successful. They can do better!
you know its funny, I've heard a lot of songs from these guys tryin to figure out if they're goin to be good together or if they're better as all solo artists, n so far everything except for a few songs has been real mediocre sounding, this might be one of those exceptions, I really like this one, it flows well n everyone is able to let their voice roam over the track
Ahh... they're from Making The Band, threw me off at first. Never really followed the show, the group has potential. The previous single on this site was much better (before they had a name).
I wanted to like this better, but I’m with what jesavail02 and Obecalp said, so I’ll leave it in rotation for now, maybe it’ll grow on me after some spins like it did with Got me going.
I am a rnb fan and i kno what alot of other rnb fans look for this is gonna be a hit regardless but it isnt better then got me going or the other single i got i cant remember the name of it ... still dissapointed in the name day 26 tho .. i think they should be fine but they got big shoes to fill with danity kane going platinum
sometimes having alot goin on in the background is good, but i'm not sure if it works here. there's 5 people in that pic. less background production and more background vocals?
break the group up....erbody go solo.....nah just kidding....theres too much going on with the beat..I plucks with them though...still think "Exclusive" was the best yet...this joint is missing something....doesnt flow at all....and yes the show is off the hook....
it's about time they put a song up on here! yo day 26 or making the band 4 are going 2 go far. i don't care wat anybody says they are all talented and between the girls them and donnie on the show; they are going 2 win. this song is hotttt!!!! day 26 is tight.
like everyone else i hate the name. but im excited for this group cuz they really can sing and just followin them a lil on the show got me pushin for em. i dont really like this beat with their voices on this track. idk if its cuz the background music is so loud and kinda overwhelming or if its cuz of the speed of their singin in relation to the beat.
This has to be the worst name for a group. I didnt even plan on listening to somebody called DAY26. P.Diddy is truly a dumbass. This song is horrible, if they werent a P.Diddy group and they tried to get airplay it wouldnt happen. I hope Day26 and Danity Kane stop making music. I hope P.Diddy retires from making music, and making boy and girl bands. He should focus on the 5 kids he got from 5 baby mamas.
It's alright...
good vocals but way too many runs. it makes the song seem too "busy"
i'm not feeling it that much though.
@ RainaYaGurl..
You should really try commenting on the song.. that's what we're all here for.. it's about the music man..
its cool but there's too much going on with the beat. and i can barely hear what they're saying in the background cause of what their singing on top of it. i like the ending and the beginning though. i hate their name.
I dont no fuck who say they dont like this song they just dont no music this shit raw as hell! but thats all i wanted 2 say SEE YOU AT THE TOP DAY 26! Peace Chi-town
I dont give no fuck who say they dont like this song they just dont no music, this shit raw as hell! but SEE YOU AT THE TOP DAY 26! ight peace Chi-town
Day 26's style makes me melt. I think Diddy made a good choice. What's better than an all Black R&B/HipHop group??? Black Street, Boyz II Men, and Jodeci did it, and Day 26 got NEXT!!!!!!
I really like this song....They can really sing and I absolutely love the names...I think that its fresh and we need some new talent...Theyre trying to be different and that is exactly what they are doing..Love this track...
I'm really feeling the beat and the vocals. but its lacking feeling and connection to its audience to me. its not one of those tracks that i can be like "damn i was feeling dat" or "i can relate". But as a group yall bangin its juz sum of da tracks.
It's not them on this track....I think the beat is doing too much, there's so much going on....this beat should have been something mellow and simple, agree?
