Davion may be new to the Booth, but the title of his forthcoming album tells you just about everything you need to know about the currently-unsigned R&B singer. As you’d expect from a guy who considers himself a sex symbol in the making, the East St. Louis native is more than confident in his ability to get and keep a high-quality lady – on this new single, he informs any fellas who might be interested in his girl not to waste their time, because she’s Off the Market. Showcasing his soulful pipes over D & D‘s dense, headphone-worthy blend of synths and vocal harmonies, the artist lets those would-be suitors know exactly what they’re missing out on: “I’m the only man that gets to see her walk around naked/ y’all gotta use your imagination.” Yeah, it’s a little heavy on the gloating, but the track oozes female appeal regardless. Those who like what they’re hearing should keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest on The Making of a Sex Symbol, which has yet to receive a solid release date.
