With an arsenal of cataloged wildin out, club tunes it should come as no surprise that French producer David Guetta has opted to Play Hard on his latest single. Joining Guetta on his electro-heavy jam are hitmakers Akon and Ne-Yo who both provide the vocal backing for the record, which also takes advantage of a few audio techniques. If Play Hard sounds vaguely familiar on the production end it’s likely because the record samples Alice DJ’s late 90’s hit dance single Better Off Alone. If you’re also looking to Play Hard or are just in the market for some fresh dance tunes then look out for Guetta’s re-release of Nothing But The Beat 2.0 , which will hit stores and digital retailers on September 11 (pre-order now on iTunes).

I kinda like this David Guetta track. These are usually not my speed but the features of Ne-Yo and Akon somewhat won me over... 2.5 out of 5...

I like Ne-Yo on here. But I'm not feeling Akon at all. Its a cool track overall. 2.5 as well from me.

I like the club intro defo sampled (but can't think what that classic beat is), mediocre hook, fastfoward to Akon's verse slaughtered - as in horrible.
If it weren't akon this would be higher rated, Guetta just had to string together olds for this one to make a modern remaking. |

not really impressed, Guetta should have chosen another sample than this Alice Deejay one which is well none, that will surely work in club, AKon and Neyo did their things on this one btw
