If you’ll permit me to get a little Honors English on y’all, classical scholar Sir Richard Livingstone once stated that “Our danger is not too few, but too many options ... to be puzzled by innumerable alternatives.“ Say what? Well, take Flo Rida‘s predicament on new David Guetta single Where Dem Girls At: upon stepping into the club, so many fly females catch his eye simultaneously that he finds himself incapable of deciding where to begin. As he’s struggling to resolve this deadlock over the veteran DJ’s stark synths and four-on-the-floor percussion, an especially alluring specimen swoops in to make the decision for him – not only is she gonna kick it with him, but she’ll bring her equally fly friends along for the ride. Playing the woman in question, Young Money heavy-hitter Nicki Minaj attacks the beat as only she can, dropping what may well be her most off-the-wall guest 16 since Monster. So, readers, does this dancefloor-scorcher whet your appetite for more body-moving bangers? That’s exactly what you’ll find on Guetta’s untitled fifth full-length, scheduled to drop in late summer.

This song first appeared on the Top Hip Hop / R&B Chart on April 11, 2011

Yup its a club song, and a no brainer knowing that David and Flo are in the song.

Club music isn't something I listen to on the regular, but I can put money down that this is what I will be hearing at the clubs and house parties pretty soon

Not my personal cup of tea, but I'm pretty sure Guetta is an international superstar because people love this sound. The clubs will no doubt be spinning "Where Dem Girls At."

As an aside, do you think Tyrese minds that they bit his old single title?

Absolute club smash! Of course, I wouldn't be too worried what they're both saying; it's for the dancefloor. Guetta's taken the entire music industry by storm...

I guess if you like generic club hip hop, then this is right up your alley. However, if you aren't into hearing songs that sound like 1,000 others then I'd stay away from this one. The catchy hook is all that saves this track from a complete throw away.

All Dave Guetta's songs sound alike. That's not a term of endearment...

The beat leaves much to be desired. I'm into various genres of music but even if this was two different artists and the same producer it still wouldn't be anything spectacular. Guetta knows his lane & fans and I'm sure they'll dig it.

Nicki killed that shit. Other than that, like everybody is saying: Same club electronica. I don't dislike it. It's cool. It is what it is.

Man you people really need to stop giving the Booth a hard time about this upbeat music. It is what it is, everyone loves this club shit right now so you may as well just no listen to the track and make your annoying hater comments. If you don't like club music then just keep yo damn mouth shut! Damn!
