Acclaimed Mississippi rapper/producer David Banner has always been outspoken; on the track, So Special (from his forthcoming album Greatest Story Ever Told), he makes no exception. Banner brings attention to the importance of setting a good example for the youth of America, all while calling out Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Oprah Winfrey and Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons as bad role models. It won’t win Banner an NAACP award for ‘07, but you can guarantee it will help generate some additional record sales when his new LP drops this fall.
