Somewhere in-between 2003’s Missisippi: The Album and 2005’s Certified, rapper/producer David Banner decided to start constructing his albums similar to DJ Khaled (or maybe it was the other way around?, who knows). On October 9th Banner will release his newest studio album, the Saigon-friendly Greatest Story Ever Told, thus continuing his guest feature extravaganza. On the second single, Get Like Me, Mr. Mississippi is joined by rappers Yung Joc and Jim Jones and R&B sensation, Chris Brown. “Stuntin’ is a habit, get like me,” Yung Joc insists on the chorus; but can Banner do it alone without an assist or three.
hey this goes in crazy when i used Reason audio to lower the the beat and have an accapella, and put it in wiv, chingy everybody in the club gettin tipsy really versatile track this one mixability 9.5 - 10
Jim Jones?.i dnt wanna sound like a hater but what do other artist see in that guy.I have yet to feel him in any song, not even his very own we fly high.
Neway.....the song is so so so chasis.Yung joc has a different style and voice from that of New Joc city........seems his learnt a few things about the game cuz he definately killed it.For the singles have heard so far,i think Banners album is gonna be a good look.Hope so!
This shit is sick. Chris Brown does his thang. Everything is coo till you get to Jim Jones's Preschool lyrics. He aint been good since his begining days. He does things like big city, nice tities. hes crap
but i still love the song
This is HOOOTTTT! One of my favorite songs hands down. The hook is just one of those hooks that you keep repeating in your head, its that catchy. The only thing thats not good about this song is Jim Jones who honestly sucks on this one. But everything else about this track is amazing. Easy 5 star.
