Since parting ways with his former group, R&B quartet 112, Atlanta-native Daron Jones has started up his own label (DJ Music) and begun work on his first solo project. The album, which will tentatively be titled Who I Am, is expected to see daylight sometime in the second half of 2008. To help give longtime fans and R&B lovers a taste of what he is capable of solely, Jones has released the new single Ecstasy. Similar to the sound of his former ensemble, the singer/songwriter/producer has layered multiple vocal tracks; never before has one man sounded so much like four. With technical credits for over twenty platinum plus records across the industry, Mr. Jones won’t have many problems trying to convince anyone he can “take them to ecstasy.”
It is very odd that I was just listening to all of the early 112 mixtapes on the MP3 in the car for the past two weeks. Daron has what it takes because he can sing, write songs, and much more. Not sure how many other people feel this way, but he still isn't going to sell anything in the end...
He got a better change than Slim no sanging a$$..this joint aint bad...really feeling the beat....need a remix with lil wayne(watch the haters get mad)
Sorry, Try again!!!!! Kanye does not look that good.....
But as far as the track, it's aiight, it does nothin' for his voice though, 'cause baby can really blow.
Please bring BACK 112!! i just can't see any of these guys making it on their own! Their songs have been just plain horrible compared to the greatness that was 112!
