Even though the city is in his name, Dallas Blocker actually calls Houston home; his stage name was chosen as a tribute to the city in which he spent a good portion of his childhood. Blocker shows off his smooth vocals and the skills of producers Beanz & Kornbread on his newest single, Whatchu Do To Me, off his forthcoming self-titled debut album. The song is mellow–you could put it under the easy listening category–but it still has a rhythm you can get up and dance to. While there is no release date for his upcoming album, it will be released through Latium/Universal Republic.
Dallas has GREAT vocal range. This isn't the half of it. The "stutter" lines have been played out (hey, Joe), but overall this is a solid, all-around -bedroom- banger. Ladies, call me. Haha!
He has a great voice, the beat pulls you in but the lyrics fall short for me. I think it is the stuttering parts. I'll get bore of this song easily, but his voice definitely leaves me wanting more. So he still gets a four.
man he looks like rick fox's lil brotha....iono bout dis one....vocals nice but like z said dat stutter thing is played out n makes da song a lil annoyin....but da production is nice tho
