The self-proclaimed “King of Reggaton,” Daddy Yankee, is back with his follow-up to the 2004 smash album, Barrio Fino. But this time, he’s taking a slightly different approach. ”Reggaeton needs a change and I’m changing too,” says the Puerto Rican rapper. ”You can’t rest on the past. This album is very different.” Helping him with this new sound on the single Impacto (Remix), is “Fergalicious” Black Eyed Peas member Fergie. A catchy club banger, this song still has the same flavor that made Daddy Yankee famous. Don’t miss the new album, El Cartel: The Big Boss, set to drop on June 5th.
The song is ok. But you other guy's who said this beat is the smae in all his songs obviously dont listen to reggeaton because every song has that basic beat and they just cahnge the sound around it.
Beat is redundant and recycled. The song is not original nor is it creative, perhaps the synthesized voice is the only modification to this reggaeton song.
