Last heard lamenting his addiction to a certain individual on November 2011’s Rehab, D1 returns to our pages with another, similarly heartbroken leak off his forthcoming, DJBooth-sponsored full-length. This time around, Booth fave Voli’s slow-burning synth production set the mood as the singer fantasizes about a woman who’s feels like she’s So Far Away—despite the fact that she’s sitting right next to him. Feeling this moody jam? More awaits on forthcoming street album Soul Blue, scheduled tio hit our mixtape page March 5, for free streaming and download.

This was OK. I like the "ride" of the beat, but nothing i heard by D1 really makes me want to rewind this. It's a good listen the first time around...

The first time I listened to this song it didn't do a lot for me. I could feel a little potential, but I wasn't sure. I gave it a few more listens because "rehab" was in my daily playlist for awhile. Sure enough, this song grew on me fast and I'm really liking the song. Catchy hook and a decent story, over solid production. I'll give it 4.5.
