If you thought hyphy’s time in the Booth had come and gone, think again—we’re still down with tracks that make you go dumb! On April 7, D-Lo released independent album The Tonite Show With D-Lo, fueled by local smash No Hoe (note the rapper’s MySpace and Twitter URLs,). Seeing the track’s massive Bay Area success, two of D-Lo’s neighbors have jumped on DJ Fresh‘s off-the-wall beat for the official remix. Area icon E-40 kicks things off with a brand-new verse, perfectly capturing the original’s raucous vibe. 40 Water’s a hard man to top around these parts, but Beeda Weeda and The Jacka prove more than able to keep pace as they assure listeners that they still don’t love No Hoe. And that, my friends, is what hyphy is all about—yadadamean?

I think this song is the first track on the booth to give me a Garbage and a Banger vibe at the exact same time. This beat is crazy, and automatically makes me think banger, but it IS a lil thin. All of the artists' flows work well wit the beat, but the subject matter and lyrics are just corny. The crazy hook is just too funny to pass up though. I'll just split the difference and give it rotation...

DAMN! Dats a hard pounding track with enough bass to shake the subwoofers out of your box. But their lyrics are just funny to listen to (for all the wrong reasons) ...
"D-lo we dont give a f*ck about no hoe no hoe no no hoe no hoe D-lo we dont f*ck about no hoe? ditch that show hoe and take her to the hoe stowe " and as you can see the lyrics are as ridiculous as they are entertaining ... Ultimately it is up to each listener and their individual tastes. |
