After unsuccessful stints at Cash Money, UTP, and Capitol Records, the New Orleans rap duo D-Boyz, have gone independent with 404 Music and are set to finally release their debut album, Life of a D-Boy. On the set’s first single, Stone and Lac retreat to familiar territory, boasting about their big spending and Dope Money. Current Cash Money superstar, Weezy F. Baby, comes aboard to spit some intro-verse fire (as well as “Young Moolah Baaaaby!” ad libs throughout), and surprise appearances are made by the duo’s old labelmates, Ms. Tee and Strings (formerly Tateeze). Topped off by producer Drum Major Music ‘s Triggaman-laced, purebred 504 beat, It’s Your Money will have people in the Crescent City and beyond bouncing.
Listen to D-Boyz's It's Your Money (Dope Money) ft. Lil' Wayne, Ms. Tee & Strin More songs from D-Boyz
I don't know what it is about Wayne on this track but im just not really feelin him or D Boyz and just when you think Berg was copying Wayne, Wayne turns around and puts Ya Dig into the intro of a song to lol.
This song is aight. Not the best. Something in the beat is throwing it all off for me. Not liking the chorus at all but Weezy is in his "I can't feel my face" mode which kind of saves the track...but gotta remember its not his song
I SAW LIL' WAYNE AND I KNEW INSTANTLY THAT THIS SONG WOULD BE A STR8 CLASSIC BANGER AND I WAS RIGHT! WEEZY F BABY (PLEASE SAY THE BABY WHEN YOU SAY IT @*#$!) STR8 OWNS THIS TRACK. @*#$! THA HATERZ, @*#$! THA COPPERS, @*#$! NICK CANNON. PEACE.
I like how wayne switched up his voice midway through the verse. Nice as usual.
I think the D-boys kinda generic1 I dunno I just think this biz got too many cats that sound ad look alike! Buncha clones! Nothin special outta D-Boyz! Wayne makes it a desent song! Beat is kinda wack to me! This is trash with out wayne!
I don’t understand the low ratings… The beat is banging, Weezy was good and the others were decent enough to have this in rotation (the woman on the hook sounds better with low tone, not that hoe sounding one).
Wow Lil Wayne is no longer the Collabo King...all the sings he seems to be in lately are trash...the beat omn this song is so repetitive and everyones flow minus Lil Wayne's is wack
