D-Block - Move
Artist: D-Block
Producer: J. Cardim
Album: J. Cardim Presents Dice Music Group Mixtape
Label: D-Block Records
With his forthcoming, Evil Empire-hosted mixtape, Booth-acclaimed producer J. Cardim will introduce listeners everywhere to the roster of his newly-launched Dice Music Group label. Assisting “your favorite rapper’s favorite producer” in his quest to get Sha Stimuli, Ariez Onasis, and the rest of his signees their shine are everyone from Red Cafe, Maino, and Slaughterhouse to Ace Hood, Termanology, and J the S—it’s unlikely, however, that anything on the street album will be able to beat the sheer star power of tonight’s feature. Originally set to appear on D-Block‘s long-awaited reunion album, Move finds Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch reuniting under their original name, the L.O.X., to spit fire over a beat reminiscent of a Heatmakerz/Dipset collabo from back in the day. Though not quite “reunion album” caliber, Move is sure to be a standout track on the forthcoming Dice Music Group mixtape. No release date has been set for the street album, but these major cosigns may be just the thing to speed the process along.

You mean to tell me this wasn't good enough to make the cut for their album? Really? Wow, they must have one heck of a project on their hands to leave this to the side. J. Cardim is one of my favorite new producers. Look out for this man in 2010.

Jada kills everything and is way underrated, or is it just underappreciated or underplayed... anyway you can't beat the L.O.X.' chemistry on this or any track. They accent eachother well on this track as they have on so many others, and the beat really knock. The hook is pretty corny, so I can kiinda see how this was left off the album. Still well worthy of rotation and better than most out there.

Beat is tight, rapping is aight but I think it will get old quick...too bad but it's still in rotation until then.

This should be on the album. Why is this not on the album? This is that single. Work out music. Hype music. What can they have on that album that pushes this off of it?
