DJ Booth Exclusive Freestyle

The 55th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of CyMarshall Law, the New Jersey-based up-and-comer who made his Booth debut with reader-acclaimed Mr. Joeker collabo Love, Sex or What.  On his brand new, previously-unreleased I Am Hip Hop freestyle, the Freedom Ent. signee flows over a Dr. Dre-produced beat originally featured on T.I.‘s unreleased cut of the same name.  Law is currently preparing for the release of his Creator’s Kid EP, as well as that of Skit Slam collaboration Everliven Sound.

Cy is in the Booth! Love the inclusion of the Booth in the rhymes, lots of great one-liners, and soooo much energy and enthusiasm. No sleep-walking here.

Love the current pop culture references.

Very nice freestyle!!! One of the best in the series!!! One thing I learned from listening to the In the Booth Mixtape is that a lot of these freestyles are better than their respective artists' other work. I don't think I've ever heard anything else from Cy, but I definitely will watch out for him in the future. Very nice work here.

CyMarshall actually impressed me a little more than I thought with his debut feature on booth ... & he continues to do so on here with his lyrics & flow ... Well the beat is mos def not Doc's best & is more on the annoying side with those constant horns in the background.

I'm feeling the beat man. His freestyle is hot because I like how he attack the track. He has the hunger on this track. I like the pop culture references.

wow. i am truly interested in this guy now simply because of the picture he painted through this one freestyle. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE!!!! it's not about reverting back to the 90's with the pro-timberland gangsterness of freestyledom but can we please stop getting into the freestyle booth and becoming boring drones of one another because we think that's what will suffice? it's not all about the beat, as cy just proved. he utilized his voice, metaphorical thoughts and the mic and purely went in to make NEW JERSEY STAND UP.

This joint is straighter than indian hair. I'm really feeling Cy's voice...it's like a 5'000 Newport Talib. I also appreciate the sci-fi shout out to HG Wells...and the beat well hell...we hold these truths to be self evident...exponentially sick.
