It’s that time of year again! No, I’m not talking about Christmas; 4/20 is right around the corner, and those craving some fresh tunes to soundtrack their smoking sessions will be happy to hear that N.O. repper Curren$y and The Alchemist have cooked up a collaborative project for that very purpose. The set’s latest leak, Full Metal, is a fittingly hazy affair, with the veteran beatsmith’s swung, chopped-sample beat backing the Fly Society emcee’s slurred braggadocio. Needless to say, plenty more blunted bangers await on the emcee-producer duo’s forthcoming Covert Coup LP, coming in for landing next Wednesday.
