If I had a nickel for every time I listened to CunninLynguistsStrange Journey albums, I would have enough change to buy every single copy in existence… of both volumes. So, you can imagine my excitement when I heard that Strange Journey (Volume Three) is due out March 24; it’s going to be a better trilogy than Star Wars! Castles, the latest single from the project, features a dope, southern-splashed verse from CunninLynguist Deacon the Villain sandwiched between two solid guest spots. Serving as the bread of the sandwich, are Seattle emcee Sadistik (first verse) and underground veteran Aesop Rock. Though all their styles are very different, they connect as one through the stellar, gliding boardwork of the legendary Kno. For more authentic hip-hop why not check out their last Booth feature, released earlier this month, Beyond the Sun?
