Rap heavyweights Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Pharrell have united to form CRS (short for Child Rebel Soldiers), a hip hop super group.  Their first effort under this name is Us Placers, which can be found on Kanye’s new mixtape, Can’t Tell Me Nothing.  Although the concept is interesting, the delivery falls a bit flat with its repetitive piano track.  Still, this trio is made up of such strong performers, that we are likely to see a lot of noteworthy tracks from CRS in the near future.

One of the hottest, instant classic songs. More about the lyrics and a whole different feel (shut up with the "um, I think they shoulda added more bass cuz all black people with rap songs gotta have bass or it ain't hard enough). This is the new era of hip hop. Sounds are changing, for the good and bad. This is one of the good, innovative changes (Sorry eastcoast, it was bound to evolve someday. Couldn't just stay the raw boom bap forever)

Classic

Classic!!! Lupe and Kanye are easily on my top 10 rappers and Pharrel, as a producer. This gets me emotional... one of them tracks that make you FEEL something! I love the bass, but I couldn't care less for its absence here. All 3 deliver straight flows and above average lyrics. And I LIKE the chorus as it is! Like michaelhannah said, this is a whole new approach.
