Inspired by Undisputed Truth’s aptly-titled funk-soul classic, You Make Your Own Heaven and Hell Here on Earth, Queensbridge stalwart Craig G. explores that very question on his first solo feature. (He was previously glimpsed on Cold Heat‘s Raising the Bar.) Here, DJ Nastee‘s sampled production bangs in the back as the hip-hop veteran and original Juice Crew member drops some hard-won knowledge on the topic of life in the streets. Styles P ripped this... Craig G was pretty average. The beat had a tight sample and good snappy drums and horns. I'll run it back to hear the G-Host again...
