With a résumé that includes credits as a co-writer and co-producer for teen group Ladies Making History and co-signs from fellow Chicago R&B stars Feloney Davis (of Public Announcement) and Syleena Johnson, Agee is confident that she can make it to the top of the R&B game. On her new single (which she recently perform on 106 & Park‘s Wild Out Wednesday), Courtney has just broken up with a typical “boyfriend from hell,” and hopes that her new man is Understanding of her situation. Produced by BJ and Feloney, Understanding might just be the work of a superstar sensation on the cusp of her big break.

This finally made it up here on the Booth eh Burmy!? Oh, light skin shorty is looking kinda right. She has a classic R&B feel. The mix on her vocals are off the chains as well. They are really raw and aren't tampered with by machines and things that make your artificially sound flawless.

I'm not a fan of songs like this...I kinda hate them, they are all the same and bore me! She has Alicia's style...her voice is ok but I don't like the second part of the track, when many voices overlap. It sounds too confusing! Music is good, nothing to say...it's in rotation, many will like it but it's not my type

I UNDERSTAND why people can dig this, but its just not my complete cup of tea. Maybe it's too slow? Who knows. Regardless of my personal tastes, however, its clear my homegirl has talent. So... she gets a three.
