What’s that – Consequence is back with a brand new feature? And it’s a track off his his forthcoming pre-album mixtape? Sounds G.O.O.D. 2 Me! Corny intro aside, the follow-up to inaugural leak Childish Games (feat. Asher Roth) is a track that should sound good to just about everyone in the Booth. Here, Boston heavyweight Statik Selektah serves up a crowd-pleasing, sampled beat driven by chilled-out strings and swanky brass as the emcee expounds upon two of his favorite topics: money and women. OK, those are just about every rapper’s favorite topics, but Cons’ smooth delivery and knack for multi-layered, pop-referential punchlines (“Have a baby by me, baby might not get a mil, but I won’t do you the way Roc-A-Fella did Emile…”) sets SG2M apart from the pack. Cons TV, the Queens veteran’s long-awaited sophomore album, has yet to receive a solid release date from the label brass, but if you’re digging this smoothed-out banger, it’s a G.O.O.D. bet you’ll find a lot more to like on the emcee’s ...Movies on Demand mixtape, set to hit the ‘net late this month.

Damn, the production was old school and enjoyable (albeit repetitive), but his flow was strong and definitely brought up the song. He did his thing.

A track with two solid verses is immeasurably better than the skimpy second and third verses that a lot of artists are putting out these days...

The hook is a little weak and drawn out, but other than that, fantastic.

One of the dopest joints I've ever heard from Cons.

I'm looking forward to his new mixtape and his album.

It's good to hear Cons jump on the "Baby By Me" flips bandwagon, though I think Yelawolf still holds the crown in that department for his "have a baby by me live in a trailer park."

Anyway, solid production, rewind worthy lyrics, no real hook, I can see why this was a mixtape cut - plus I think it speaks well for the quality of Cons TV.

Shout out to Richard for dropping some puns in the intro that put even me to shame. You're still the king Richard. All praise due.

Backed up by a wonderfully funky and head nodding beat, Consquence, who armed with a slick tongue and a witty mind drives this joint to BANGER!!! status.

I have loved Consequence from day one. He is clever with word play but very down to earth with flows. I don't see how you can hate on the guy, he's been around for a lone while, whether you are familiar with him or not. I always enjoy seeing new tracks from him. Yeah, I agree, if this is a mixtape, I only expect more from an actual album but regardless, this cat is bringing it. I agree again with DJ Z, this should've been something off his album, I mean, that's how well the production was to the lyrics and vocals. Very well done, I am impressed and I am looking forward to hearing more from him. Cons, just needs to keep doing his thing, he is one artist that actually stays consistent.I'd love to see more tracks with "Little Brother" and "Kanye West."
