It is hard to forget good music. The best songs usually stay in the brain for days after an initial listen; often they will even pop back up upon hearing any hint of the melody. Consequence’s remix to Don’t Forget ‘Em, featuring the song’s producer Kanye West on the third verse, might just be one of those songs. Both MC’s have similar vocal styles and ride the beat perfectly; it is no wonder why West signed Consequence to his label, G.O.O.D. Music. Cons debut album, Don’t Quit Your Day Job!, which sold only 8,000 copies its first week is in stores now.

I like this song. The original was fine. There is no improvement with the remix, with all that said, it’s a good song. Consequence needs to drop a mainstream song so he can get his recognition. He has skills. Keep it up.
ỡ ỡ ỡ vinyls
(Rating system is out of five vinyls: 1-get your needles ready; 2-get your wheels spinning; 3-get another copy for scratching; 4-needs to be part of your rotation; 5-a “club dynamite” forever; if you ever see no vinyls that means the song wasn’t meant to be made—a waste of plastic.)
