Commissioner Gordon - Red Eyes
Artist: Commissioner Gordon
Featuring: Thee Tom Hardy
Producer: Commissioner Gordon
Album: Hydration
Label: Unsigned
Previously heard backing King Mez on Booth-sponsored collaborative LP The Paraplegics, Raleigh producer Commissioner Gordon is preparing to fly solo on his latest mixtape release. Making its world premiere in the Booth, 4/20-appropriate smokers’ anthem Red Eyes finds the production vet cooking up a pensive synth backdrop for the blunted lyricism of fellow North Carolina repper Tom Hardy. Digging it? Then keep it locked for the latest news and tunes leading up to the summer release of Gordon’s Hydration LP.

Goodness... this production is off the hook. And Thee Tom Hardy goes hard. Just a good track all-around.

not really feeling this, beats too simple and rhymes are unfocused and all over the place

commissioner gordon impressed me with his work with king mez as @richard mentioned above, especially 'the stars'. this, while not as good, still works for me. the beat is banging and thee tom hardy usually delivers.
