On his earlier work, singer Colby O’Donis has tried an acoustic-soul sound that has been most-recently popularized by Robin Thicke. Switching up his style for the new track I Got The Key, Colby gives us some old-fashioned R&B as he once again asks a certain lady to give him a chance. Gregg Pagani provides a smooth accompaniment, nostalgically reminding listeners of classic R&B a la Boyz II Men or Jagged Edge. They don’t call Colby O’Donnis “Akon’s secret weapon” for nothing; as two of his debut offerings show, O’Donis can master almost any style of music.

I still like "What You Got" and "Take You Away" better, but this is way better then "Perfect Detail". In fact, it isn't bad at all.I wish I could rate 3.5. V_v

I am telling you man...This Kid has something here! He is definitely the secret weapon for Konvict Muzik. This boy can sing and the productions are always tight (so far); and he fits right in with the Justin Timberlake's and Robin Thicke's out there. Good track with a nice feel!
