After spending several months atop DJBooth’s R&B Chart with his debut single, What You Got, singer Colby O’Donis is ready to plant the seed for a second consecutive smash. With plenty of consideration given to a T-Pain collaboration (which will most likely make his debut album’s final cut), Colby and his Konvict crew have decided on the Clinton Sparks-produced Don’t Turn Back. Written by the man himself, Colby’s song is an ode to women who cannot forget about past relationships. With a charming personality, and mad skills on the guitar, O’Donis no doubt should be able to convince quite a few female listeners. Colby O will land in stores and online retailers this summer.
I told people a long time ago and I'll say it again...Colby is NICE! He has a good voice and he gets songs that really suit his style. It is definitely a winning combination! This has a good chorus and good smooth Production! CERTIFIED DJ BLAZE BANGER!!!
This is STRAIGHT OFFICAL!!!>.... give Colby a good beat and he'll kill it.... I Heard this a few days ago and it's on repeat in my car!!! And COlby is cute as Ever!
there's this track called "She Didn't Go, She Didn't Leave" by O'donis....and it compares to the "What U Got" track ... its worth look'n into and probably 10X better than this!
this track is hot, hes lucky to begin in an area of quality producers and singers who know how to go from nothing to something. this is very repetitive just like his last track which is why I dont like it as much as most people will, but theres nothing worse than a song that is extremely repetitive. its good though for the most part.
Track after track I'm more impressed by colby o'donis, he's really bringing it to this style of rnb. I suppose it can't hurt with akon behind the productions cause the beats are always spot on for the track.
Nice vocals. Anyone heard him sing live before?? I did....he did acapella which was decent. Oh and those Konvict chains are DOPE!! Damn, after that Akon concert...long story short - I took the initiative to touch one of those chains...HAHA. Diamonds were sweet ;P
Colby is going to blow up once Akon decides to put some effort into promoting him. This is a radio worthy track right here! Solid effort from Colby over great production from CS and Akon.
I am getting tired of that "konvict" at the beginning of the songs...damn it isn't an advert but a song! Anyway I don't find it soooo excellent but it's radio worthy for sure
average track...
to all those who gave this more than 3 stars... where's the difference between this, git fresh booty music and all t pains singles???
people's lazy lately, try something different...
filtered synths plus tr 808 drums are getting rather annoying....
Colby’s got singing skills, an enjoyable voice but this is not gonna be his breakthrough. The song is just average. Not crazy for the production, but Imma sucker for the guitar on the 2nd pre-chorus. Maybe if they used it more, it’d be better. The piano throughout reminds me of Bartender, when this guy needs something fresh to be noticed! Give him something like “Losin’ it” next time Rock City compose such material, once they don’t even want that kind of music! :p
colby is the man he's gonna be real good with his summer hit what you got.... akon has suffin good with him 4real!!!!! im def. gonna take a look at that song reishm4

This is a good track...how-ever not as good as "What you got," it does have potential. I do think that he could do without the "Akon" verse at the beginning of the song. By now I think that it is getting annoying. But, otherwise, the beat is great, and so is his voice. I can't wait to hear what his first album sounds like.
This Is cool right here! I like what I hear fomr colby thus far! His voice is light, he''s not a "SANGA" but he rides is production well and doesn't try to do things with his voice that he can't accomplish, that shows promise. I dig this!
ii agrEe Wiv Dj.Blaze...Colby is totalyy fresh!!! the guy's musik is totalli original && his beats are just so0 smooth!! ii.Love.COLBY!!! he's the one tru atrist that realii experiments wiv the music...the guys got GREAT skillzZ!! KantT Waiit for his neXt Trak!! >>PeacE Ya'll
Has this guy blown up yet? Everything I have heard from him sounds like it would get major radio play. Pretty tight track overall. I would drop this in a set.
Im very impressed with Colby. Akon was right about him being his "secret weapon" and I believe he has a bright future. I just wish he would use the guitar more and experiment with different, creative beats. This track is nice.. 3.5 stars*
And like reishm4 stated, "she didnt go, she didnt leave" is a better track.. my choice for next single.
