While veterans Capone-n-Noreaga might be Reporting the War on their much-anticipated impending reunion album, the NYC duo has been making plenty of allies on the side. On their buzz single, My Hood, the duo teamed up with Virginia twosome The Clipse, pointing out that ”my hood is your hood, your hood is my hood…it’s all good.” For the remix, that motto is emphasized even further with stops in Brooklyn (Uncle Murda and Maino) and Long Beach (Tha Dogg Pound). With so many raps about regional representation, it is quite refreshing to hear a variety of hip-hop sub-cultures pointing out what they all have in common. The reporting officially starts later this summer.
This is HOT. I love how Capone and Noreaga exchange bars back and forth. And the addition of the Clipse definetly adds to the better part of the song. This is def. a banger!
I'm feeling the production by Mike Belgrove. The flow is pretty nice too. I've never been a fan of Tha Dogg Pound or their lyrical content. This song is nicely put together though.
Maino is getting some real nice love these days. He has a lot of buzz surrounding his upcoming project at Atlantic. As for the stars of this show, CNN, they reunion is getting me excited. If anyone is searching to find some classic East Coast hip-hop, go scoop up one of their earlier records.
Everytime they add some rappers instead of re-mixing the song, to me it's useless. I liked the original one by CNN & The Clipse and this ain't that different...just a little more crowded! To me it's ok just because this adds nothing to the original version
On the real...I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ALBUM NOW! The Production and their flow is BACK to what it once was when they were at the top of the game. This is A CERTIFIED DJ BLAZE BANGER right here! Really good lyrics; great beat; and a great sound overall...Nice back and forth flow and they can do it better than anyone else...

The original song is hot... so is this one.. but SOMEONE PLEASE CHANGE THE TUNE FOR THE REMIX! Why do remixes these days have the same music?? Doesn't sound like remix to me... oh and nice song no offense to it :D
