Nearly one year ago, Clyde Carson stepped inside our DJ Booth for an exclusive interview. At the time, his Sean Kingston-assisted single, Doin That, was ready to hit radio, and after several delays Carson was preparing for the fall release of his debut album, Theatre Music. Unfortunately, the Oakland native’s best laid plans (to this point) have gone awry; Doin That never got the chance to succeed at radio and Theatre Music is still on the backburner. Perpetually on the grind, however, the 25-year-old is featured on several joints from the new DJ Haze/Nu Jerzey Devil/Big Mike mixtape project; Bang Bang (Pt. 1). Alongside his Black Wall Street boss, The Game, Carson spits an opening 16 and rides the beat back n’ forth with his LA neighbor on Cali State of Mind. Intrigued? Carson’s official single (again featuring The Game and Kingston) is set to drop before the end of the month.
Westcoast baby! I've been excited about West Coast music lately. This that hood ish...ya heard? LOL. I guess you can thank the Game for that. This song is real tight. I like Clyde's presence over the track. The Game was good, as usual. I'm in high anticipation for L.A.X. My favorite part on this is the bridge.
Yea Me too! WESTSIDE ON MINE! This is deffinatly on point. Production is strong! Clyde kills it! Game is the King of the west! (What up Snoop) Lovin this here!
WESTCOAST Baby! The beats tight as fuck, and Game kills it just like he always does. And I don't think I can wait any longer for L.A.X. I hope Game sells 2 million albums the first week. lol
West side is makin noise lately in the booth! I think this beat is a pure classic. If anyone can remember when we featured Bishop Lamont's "Grow Up" last week, I said that song was a Banger but would have been a classic with Game or Dr. Dre. Well...Here we are a week later with the guest verse from Game. Even though it's not the same song, it's a West Coast vibe from a new artist. So the only thing left to say is....CLASSIC
This is a Solid ass Cali anthem done by two hot New West state of mind artist. Cali is a hot bed of new raw talent w/out major record label backing it's been like that for over 10 years now its only a matter of time before the attention of the media swings back our way, watch!
