Clipse - Intro
Artist: Clipse
Producer: Reefa
Album: Road To 'Till The Casket Drops Mixtape
Label: Re-Up/Columbia
Getting ready to release their Columbia debut, ‘Till The Casket Drops, in March, The Clipse have been more than just busy. After their new clothing line, Play Cloths, premieres on November 21, Malice and Pusha T are set to drop their first mixtape since We Got It 4 Cheap 3, appropriately titled Road To ‘Till The Casket Drops. Today, we present the Intro track, which features producer Reefa‘s original beat to the Fabolous and Junior Reid record, Gangsta Don’t Play. On Intro the Virginia duo mix Lord Willin‘s spirited tempo with Hell Hath No Fury‘s anger, expressing a “cautiously optimistic” attitude in regard to their future with their new distribution. If you’ve come to love Malice and Pusha’s lyrical stranglehold on the game, you can expect plenty more on Road To ‘Till The Casket Drops, available online December 1.

This production sounds pretty epic. Lovin Clipse since day one. Typical solid track from the dudes. Nothin too special, but a great track to keep the buzz goin.

This was decent. I've never heard the original...but the production is awesome though. This joint bangs! LOL...why they gotta come at Praz though...lol? Hecksie drawes. I'm going to look out for the release of their mixtapes. Clipse go hard.

Lyrically... there are not many in the game that can touch these guys. I pray - as I know they do too - that their new situation over at Columbia works out.
... and this was just an Intro track. Ha. |

I love that song they sampled. Junior Reed is the truth. Clipse got a good one right here.

These guys are definitely unlike any other lyrically. It doesn't mean they are the best, but they are definitely creative.

Yeah, the lyrics are pretty insane, but Pusha follows Fab's flow too closely, I was waiting for something more innovative. Malice straight killed it

I always thought Fabulous didnt quite do that "Gangsta Don't Play" track justice...Clipse ripped thru it. Ive been on Clipse since "Grindin'" Honestly, it beats me why they 'underachieve' in sales...because by me they've never dropped a bad cd!!

As much as i like Clipse (Probably my favorite Hip Hop act), i think Fabolous's original version was better then this, Malice kills it & Pusha's verse is good, but i prefer the original. Cant wait for the release of till the casket drops.

I love beats like this, they make me dance. The music is ok but it could have been better. Flow is hot. I was about to write that this track was monotonous but when one of them sang I was taken by surprise. Verses are a bit boring coz the repetitive background music, but this goes in rotation! ;)

I sure hope this new mixtape is better than We got it 4 Cheap #3, because compared to Got it for cheap #2, #3 just plain sucked! Just as Z has stated, the Clipse are very, very, very high up on the lyrical list. This production is CRAZY HOT! Real street Music right here! This to me, is CLASSIC SHIT! Junior Reid RIPS the chorus! Sick ass intro to a Mixtape that should be FRESH TO DEATH!

Pretty decent, this beat and Reid would up anybody's game though, but this track is still solid. Must check Fabo & Junior Reid "Gangsta don't play"
