Most medical experts agree that a happy workforce is a productive one, and that generally holds true for urban musicians as well. The Clipse, however, are a notable exception to this rule—the duo’s anger and disgust with former distributor Jive Records served as inspiration for their Hell Hath No Fury LP, which was hailed by many as a classic. Having found greener pastures at Columbia, Malice and Pusha T are back to the more positive-minded style of their debut, Lord Willin’, but cheery cuts like Fast Life and I’m Good have thus far failed to pick up the acclaim of their darker-sounding jams. Also set for inclusion on their Till The Casket Drops LP, All Eyes On Me follows a similar formula; on the potential single, the duo team up with Pharrell to step out in style, all three shining so brightly fellow clubgoers can’t help but stop and look. Though Keri Hilson makes a brief cameo, the highlight here is the Neptunes’ uptempo, percussion-heavy beat. So, are you digging the Clipse’s new vibe, or should the Columbia execs start some shenanigans in anticipation of TtCD‘s arrival this fall?

NOW THIS IS THE CLIPSE I WANT TO HEAR
Pusha & Malice sound great on this, The hook from Pharrell is good & the bridge from Hilson is also good. The production from The Neptunes is tight. I can honestly see this getting some spins on radio & in the clubs, which is something I havnt been able to say about the previous tracks leaked off Till The Casket Drops. 4.5 |

Aussie, I agree. Best Clipse record off this new batch to hit my ears. When you look at the production nod, it begins to make sense- minus "I'm Good," which personally, I don't think was very good. 10 more of these and this album will be ready to roll out.

This production really set the tone here. It had me bobbin my head throughout the whole song. All of the artists sounded great on this so it is agreed that this is the best off of the album so far.

I was really impressed with this track, the production on this is crazy and the Clipe and Pharrel also were very good however i think Keri Hilsons part was unnecessary

The Booth features some records with some hard-hitting production tonight.
Decent joint. I'm not really a Clipse fan. Keri's part was the best part. She can "Knock Me Down" anytime. Pusha T sounds like Kanye at moments. |

The song is a BANGER!!! with the beat once again outperforming the lyrics.
Actually, I prefer the other version with Keri on hook. They're really on a commercial tip with first three singles. "Kinda Like A Big Deal" is still the hottest one out right now from Clipse IMO. |

I seen this and when it said feat. Skateboard P I knew this was produced by one of my favorites, The Neptunes. Then my favorite female artists Keri is on the track?! CLEARLY its over.

I guess this song will grow on me. I'm not crazy for it for now. The beat is banging and I like how The Clipse flow (both of them). Keri Hilson has the best verse, I love her! But the music doesn't convince me...in rotation

This beat is on fire! Pharrell is on his bull shit with this one. Love the tempo of this track. Clipse are solid, but I would have loved hear rapid fire flow on this. Keri adds some really nice flavor to this at the end. Certified banger.

The beat knocks hard on this one. Keri hilson fit well on this but would of liked her on the hook instead. Clipse have came harder with lyrics but the beat saves this one for me.

scharpfuzz, the earlier version got out ahead of time. The new audio is the official single edition, with a change-up at the beginning, Pharrell on the intro, and Pharrell & Keri's vocals vocals together on the hook.
Listening to this, it's an AWESOME vibe. "Lord Willin'" got the Clipse where they are today, and spawned plenty of radio hits. Now that they're back on it, hopefully the formula will work once again! |

Production is BANGIN! This is definitely club-ready. Pusha-T and Malice both have good flow on here (i usually like Pusha-T more), Keri sounds great and Pharrell does good. I'm gettin very interested in the Clipse now, everything i've heard so far has been great! I think i might check out their past albums too.

I miss the Grindin' rapping Malice and Pusha T but appreciate a different type of song after so long. I'm feeling like All Eyes On Me has this Travis McCoy vibe with a slight sprinkle of Drake delivery. I'm not sure where The Clipse went but I wouldn't mind having them back. Keri Hilson is almost unrecognizable on this track which is one of the reasons I love her so much.
I am a fan of the track. I enjoy the beat and Hilson is a nice add to the chorus. Smooth enough for girls but swag enough for guys. I likes!! |
