Even the most self-confident individuals, upon learning that a guy or girl they’re crazy for feels the same way, will react enraptured disbelief: “Could someone So Fresh really be interested in me?!” Of course, once you’ve built a person up to Olympian heights, a more or less gradual slide into disillusionment is bound to follow… but, hey, it’s nice while it lasts! CJ Hilton‘s latest single finds the It Ain’t Easy crooner in just such a state of new-relationship bliss. Over a hip-hop accented, piano-led beat by Salaam Remi, bona fide rap legend and Queensbridge vet Nasir Jones grabs the mic for an expert verse that captures both the infatuation period and the relationship’s subsequent downfall; though the chick’s adoration of him and his music are initially charming, Nas ultimately writes her off as a “mismatched chick tryin’ to crack a rich black thug.” So, Booth readers, does this smooth single leave you craving more? Then keep it locked for release details on CJ Hilton’s forthcoming full-length, which has yet to receive either a title or a solid drop date from the J Records brass.

I actually really liked this track. I don't think that CJ's vocals were perfect throughout the entire track, but he does sound very smooth and the production was pretty hot as well. Nas provides a sick 16 and steals the show. Goes to show you that he still has it in him.

This song is catchy. Not bad for CJ Hilton. His voice is fresh and crisp on top of this beat. The beat is actually my favorite part of this. Nas part is a nice addition to. I'd listen to it again. I could do without all the other song references though. Overall I give it 4-stars.

I have NO CLUE how Mr. Hilton managed to bag Nas for a guest feature, but his contribution makes for a complete song. Super catchy, too. This should be able to pop off at radio.

I like the production and Nas is a nice addition. I didn't mind Hilton's Vocals, but they weren't my favorite. I thought the hook could have used some work, but its not an awful track. It's pretty catchy.

I thought the hook is cathchy to some extreme, but CJ isn't great in my opinion. Nas scrapes it upto a 3, but i honestly wonder how he managed to get him to feature.
