Absent from the Booth since last August, when he brought us reader-approved single Keep on Winnin’, South Bronx/Brooklyn buzzmaker City Haze makes his return to our pages with new single Super Vixen. Produced by Philly Blunts and local beatboxer Beats Myth, the record finds Haze venturing into pop-rap territory as he spits Auto-Tuned game to a fly female. Is this cut’s freaky style a good look for the up-and-comer? If you think so, you’ll doubtless enjoy the rest of what’s in store on sophomore LP Room Six9 scheduled to drop May 4.

While I was listening to city haze try to be t-pain in the opening hook of the song, I was envisioning a great verse. Then, when the first verse came on, and the voice hadn't changed.. i was extremely disappointed. I'm not sure why he kept the voice for the so much of this song, there's a little section in the second verse where this voice isn't used, and I mean, it's solid at best, but i can't even consider this song for anything because this type of a voice is for intros and hooks, not verses. I can't even focus on the lyrics or the flow because I'm so distracted/bothered by the voice. Not feelin this one..

This sounds nothing like a T-Pain track though. Very slick wordplay and VERY different for a NY artist. This is radio ready!
