Not every rapper gets into the game for the women, but the attention from the ladies doesn’t hurt. Fresh off his highly rated single Dream Boy, New York’s City Haze is back with a tribute to the female body titled Rewind That. While producer Mike Blud’s funk-based production plays in the background, City gets his Ray J on, explaining how he just can’t stop from rewinding his favorite women again and again. Though D.O.A. supporters will likely groan at the track’s use of auto-tune on the intro, those who’ve dug City’s previous work will likely be rewinding the track themselves for another listen. City Haze is currently preparing to drop his upcoming album Star of the City, out in the fall of ’09.

The hook makes this a Booth-worthy record. City Haze holds his own on the verses, but nothing screams out at me to do as the hook says. The head-nodding production sounds like something out of Ryan Leslie's studio. Overall, rotation worthy.

I actually think City Haze is 1 of the most underated & youngest talents of 09 . I've heard Hip Hop cuts from him that are extremely dope! & for to him to switch his music up and crush the scene with female songs only shows that he's not the same as every other NY emcee . Great Track !

Track Does sound like a Ryan Leslie production which isnt a bad thing on my vote . Overall I like City's sound , very laid back & smoothly delivered . 4/5

The beat is identical to that of the song "Murder" by Jay Sean. This song ain't bad but the feature I love more is the beat that I've already heard

I say by 2010 this cat is gonna be a major face on the Hip-Hop scene . In previous reviews i read him being compared to Jim Jones , Fabolous , a Hip Hop version of Ryan Leslie , Nas etc That basically shows that he's an all around problem lol.
