The last single off Ciara‘s forthcoming full-length, September’s Sorry, won positive Booth reviews on the strength of its old-school R&B vibe and the artist’s heartfelt vocal performance. Rather than attempting a repeat performance, however, CiCi’s has opted to turn up the energy considerably for the follow-up video single. On the Livvi Franc-penned Got Me Good, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins‘s ferociously danceable grooves fuse with the A-Town songstress’ flirtatious vocals to create a high-energy cut meticulously crafted for club and radio rotation. The accompanying visuals show Ciara performing some dance moves likely to elicit Janet Jackson comparisons from seasoned R&B/pop connoisseurs. Feeling it? This beat sounds oddly familiar to another song, can't put my finger on it. Not really feeling the lyrics on this at all. Her vocals are good on this but that is all.

Ciara is a great singer and dancer but she's been lacking for a while now. This song is not good in general and I feel like she's done multiple songs like this before.. Please girl bring something new to the plate!

I don't understand why Ciara is receiving all the bad feedback on this song. I think it's a nice, upbeat track that you can really dance to. I enjoyed the little snippet of the old cheer/song many girls, including myself, used to do back in the day. Brings back memories. Ciara also looked beautiful in the video! I loved the all white 90's inspired outfit, and it was nice to see 8 flavahs in the video!
