With the Jeezy-featuring Never Ever currently making an impact in the Booth (as of last week, it sits at number two on our R&B chart) and elsewhere, Ciara‘s highly-anticipated third studio album has finally secured a spot on Laface/Zomba‘s release calender: April 7th. Since the lead single was a smoldering slow jam, listeners likely expect a follow-up that will set fire to dance floors nationwide, and on that count Love Sex Magic doesn’t disappoint. Talking dirty with dance partner Justin Timberlake, Ciara promises to perform a truly jaw-dropping feat: presumably after they’ve moved to a more private setting, she will magically make all of her clothing disappear; her next trick, of course, will be to transform sexual chemistry into true love. Backed by The Y’s’ midtempo electro-funk production, Love Sex Magic is sure to set sparks flying when it hits the clubs, paving the way for Fantasy Ride‘s arrival in stores this April.

This song definitly has HIT potential...nowadays anything involving JT is a certified Billboard burner!
The electro style beat will definitly capture attention anywhere...very funky, soulful. Nice effort |

this is okay to me, no big deal really. for some reason it reminded me of some J-lo at the begging, with a little old school Janet jackson mixed in.

I was feeling Justin's solo version A LOT better (actually would have rated that one a 4). That eclectic, old school, Prince-sounding vibe fits JT's style far more better than Cici. I couldn't get with her on this.

I dont know about this track... I agree wit MCM that I heard J-lo on this, and with cb in that it is a song that works better wit JT's vibe and vocals. Ciara was alright on here, but nothin special. The hook was average.

Dj mcm, you must have that ESPN or whatever that's called, cuz you read my mind with that Janet Jackson reference. The production is nice and both vocalists are great . I can't hate on the record, though I know another Ciara and J.T collab could be way better than this. This is a good taster, but I hope they do a future one that's really epic. I keep saying, bring this 80s funk flavor back this year officially. This gets rotation from Young Son.

This sounds like an MJ type joint right here. Everyone better enjoy this song now while its still Exclusive because within the next month this is going to get SERIOUSLY PLAYED OUT...which is a good thing for Ciara and the record label. Justin sounds Excellent on here, and Ciara rarely ever sounds bad! This can go into rotation, but personally, I won't listen to it again, but I won't turn it off immediately as it comes onto the Radio!
