In late July, DJBooth featured Ciara’s rumored first single, High Price, which included a guest spot from Ludacris and production by Tricky Stewart. Sounds like quite the talented combination, right? Evidently, CiCi and her label friends at Jive thought otherwise. Instead, the ATL native has decided to roll out the T-Pain-produced and accompanied Go Girl. With catchy, club-ready production, an easy-to-remember call-out hook, and an empowering message to women, the single will have listeners moving towards the dance floor and Ciara sashaying her way up the charts. While the singer’s forthcoming third studio album, Fantasy Ride, does not yet have a specific release date, the project is aiming for this December.
I ain't heard Ciara in a minute, last time i remember listenin to her was the song with her and Bow Wow, i done forgot what it was to haha, I guess this is alright being produced by T-Pain, Beat kinda sounds similar to some of TP's old work, but TP still killed this in my opinion.
Its aight nuttin that really jumps out to me...beat is chill lyrics are aight...not somethin that you can really brag about or really listen to past a couple weeks without getting tired of it...
YEA I CAN HEAR T-PAINS PRODUCTION SKILLS ON THIS SOUNDS LIKE CIARA USEING THE VOCODER BUT NOT TOO OBVIOUS,NOTHING SPECIAL SHUD GET AFEW PLAYS WIT MR T-PAIN ON IT..
Man, get ready for this one to blow. Anything Ciara or T Pain roll out gets huge airplay and attention, regardless of the quality. Personally, I like this song. The Pain production is fit for any type of scenario: clubs, iPod, radio...anything. Ciara's vocals could have been a little stronger, and I thought the chorus flowed too similar to the verses, I thought the chorus was part of the verses. Pain's verse is pretty weak, like all of his other attempts at rapping. PS I'm feelin taht "Energizer Playboy Bunny" line! Haha
I complain about the massive amount of t-pain tracks but even though his robotic voice is on the radio all day u can't deny the fact that he makes hits..well produced catchy club song in my opinion.
Yea here's another Joint that I'm diggin. My version is called hood girl. Either way this beat is on fire. Ya'll know Pain got them beats. Honestly they should go back to the hood girl version. It is alot more gutter.
can i jus say dat i'm glad dat ciara and t-pain are on da same song 2gether! ! i love da both of them and i have there freshmean and sophomore albums...i really hope dat dis goez 2 da top! ! !
Da Boss, please only rate the song once, it gives more accurate ratings to everyone. I had to go in and delete your other rating, keep enjoying the music features!
I was really digging "High Price" and it's eclectic opera-style R&B. I do like this T.Pain production and this song is cool. I feel "High Price" would have turned more heads as a song. I think her label is playing it safe. Either way, she still has a recipe for success. T.Pain smashed this feature. He is quickly becoming the most demanded artists in hip hop (which he already was), but now he seems to have more integrity support ever since people figured out he could rap, produce and sound good even WITHOUT the voice box.
Don't know how I feel about this one yet. I'm not particularly impressed but I still feel the need to give this song its just due. I'm on the fence about this song.
This is Tight right here! Ciara does a GREAT job on here and she is positioned to be one of the main girls in the genre (she already pretty much is in my book). Just a side note of information...Ciara is going to show up with 50-cent at the MTV awards and announce their official relationship (LOL!) T-Pain does a good job on production here and he raps nice on this beat! Good to hear him without the machine for once! This is a Certified DJ BLAZE BANGER!
Playing it safe I see CiCi. Still a good look a nice way to throw out a track just before summer ends and school is back in session. This is a cool track not overcooked and definately can see this song becoming another overplayed "Lollipop" which is saying that it will be played like crazy. Good look C.
i agree with Kayleb101 its bin a minute since i heard her but she seemed to have disappointed me because shez sort of whining instead of singing...itz like shes a different person since she went all girly..but go girl tpain getz all the credit
i like dis...it came as a surprise to me tho cuz i woulda neva thought dat they'd do a song together...but its cute tho....no homo ciara's legs look amazin n dis pic...
Have heard a lot of songs over the summer from this upcoming album. Didn't like High Price (but it is growing on me), didn't like Supernatural (Mary J version is better), Walk On the Wall was very good, been spinning that for about 2 months good crowd response and I like this one too. Safe choice for a single and classic Ciara vocals...I like it, but not better than Walk On the Wall.
This is a good track to debut with. It really grabs my interest about what Fantasy Ride will sound like when it comes out. This one is super catchy and the beat is sick. T-Pain's verse is decent as well. Watch this one climb the charts and be all over the radio like crazy.
Crazy production
T-Pain really is under rated as a producer, he makes some of the best beats. Also underrated as a rapper, he totally killed his verse CiCi was sounding good to (Maybe bcuz she was on autotune...)
Just read the October '08 issue of Vibe Magazine, and let me tell you, I thought I was in love with Ci Ci, but now I know I am!!! Fellas, do yourself a favor and cop that issue of Vibe!
